Post 3 - Magical words

To be honest, I don't know if I have a favorite author. I have a favorite book, but even so, I'm not sure if the author of those books (because is more than 1 book), but i could say she has a great writing style. She is J.K Rowling and of course, my favorite books are Harry Potter. I could name another author, who has a good writing and is Maggie Stiefvater. I like them because they have a dynamic style and when I started to read a book of them, it's hard to stop reading and when I feel that in books and movies (when I want to keep watching it until the end), is my personal thermometer of a good thing. Probably not the best reason, but I'm fine with that.
According of these authors, I could say I like fantasy books. Harry Potter series is about magic and the Maggie Stiefvater's books I read was about werewolf and with a little bit of folklore (as I can read from the synopsis of another books by her). In fact, Maggie Stiefvater create music to her books, celtic music so, you can imagine, I guess, the style or the atmosphere she puts in her books.
After this, and even if I said it before, my favorite book is Harry Potter. I can't really explain why, but once I started to read it, years ago, I couldn't stop until I read the 7 books. As many children and young, this serie create me interest in the literature (I even consider to study literature in the university before I ended up choosing cinema) and read more. To discover new worlds through words and let my imagination be free.
It's been a while since I haven't read books. Now I spend my "reading time" reading texts for classes and I really don't remember the last book I read. I can't recommend a book then, just Harry Potter because I want to read them again. I hope you can give it a try if you want and you are looking for a good book (and you can, read them in order, not like me)
Actually, I'm so happy that, even if the main story is over, we have more magic in movies and books, with 5 new movies as spin-off, in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and another books which explain things about this amazing universe.

    I love Harry Potter, i read only some of the books, but I was a fan of all the movies. Few days ago were fulfilled "19 years later". See you!

    I think everyone knows about Harry Potter, the books and the movies are iconic in the literature, cinema and world culture

Post 1 - Looking for cold weather

It's kind of difficult to me to choose just one place I would like to go. If I could, I would travel around the world the rest of my life and discover the differents cultures. Now, I could choose two places based in my favorite passions, and they are United Kingdom and Russia, but I guess for this entry, I'm going to choose Russia. Taganskaya Subway Station And why I ended up choosing Russia is because I love the cold weather. Is not a great reason, but is a big one. Of course there are summer too, but definetly is colder than Chile. Another reason I want to go there is I want to visit the amazing theatres and, if I could, to go to a show there. I love classical arts and my favorite is the ballet, and the russian ballet is one of the best in the world. Going to such a gorgeous places, where famous plays have been premiered it would be like a dream come true. Post 2 - Perfect holidays

Is not very difficult to choose my favorite or best holidays. They are pretty calm and I usually do nothing. I like to spend the time in my house and rest. That's why, my best, or better said, unfogettable holidays were when I did the opposite. It was years ago, in 2011 and with my family, we went to Purranque, a small town near of Puerto Montt. In that place, lived my grandmother and my family and a lot of uncles, aunties and cousins were there to celebrate the New Year with her. We were there for around 2 weeks and we took her out and we went to a lot of places, Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, Llanquihue, etc, but the most important, we went to Fresia, the town were my mother and my uncles/aunties grew up. It was so magical to discover the old house and how beautiful is. It's a small house surrounded by a little forest, with frutal and old trees. There, an aunt lives and I meet her for the first time. Post 4 - Dreams

I have a favorite director, who is Wes Anderson. But my favorite movie is not by him. Is The Red Shoes, directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, a 1948 movie, with Moira Shearer, Marius Goring and Anton Walbrook. This movie is special to me because I love ballet. And this movie has, as scenary, this world and what involve the creation of a piece of ballet. Is magical how the Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale comes to life and enters into Victoria's life, played by Moira Shearer, who is a ballet dancer in real life. And also, the sidestory which follows every character: Victoria, a young dancer who wants to become a ballerina, the young composer and director who falls in love with the dancer, and the company director, who thinks that the artist must dedicate their life to the their career, but even so, he falls in love with the dancer too and feels frustrated when he discover the dancer and composer relationship. All of this put in tension the dreams of each one
